welp heres from africa

Dear everyone who is reading this, hello This is drew by the way, Calley's illustrious and glamorous traveling partner/cousin. And i am writing you from the Radach memorial center in Tamale, Ghana after being here for four days. and now I will tell you my side of the story... so.. after waiting in a british airport for almost an hour for a calley to show up to board the plane, i started wondering if she had either been arrested or had taken to shopping with those extremely cheeky brits. So when the time came and they refused to hold up the plane for her I remembered all of my favorite war movies and decided to follow suit... namely to leave the wounded (calley) behind. So i boarded the plane and I hoped i see her again one day. Arriving in Accra was great. I was alone. utterly alone. and after picking up my luggage I was guided by two extremely happy guys out of the airport into a side parking at which time they began to ask for tips. Needless to say the next little bit was quite exciting for me... but it all turned out ok after losing about 60 bucks to necessary tips. Yes, the night ended at 2:30 with me chilling with a security guard talking about the history of Ghanain politics. I finally received almost 2 hours of rest in an airport terminal with some of the tired maintance crew. unfortunately i was awakened early by a different security guard saying my mom was on the phone... surprising?... only a little. I went to phone and reassured her quickly though, still not understanding the necessity of getting in touch with anyone after being split from calley... sure they didn't know where i was or if i was ok but come on... I'm totally 18 i got it under control. So to wrap this post up. I arrived in Tamale, and was quickly spotted by Johnson Asare and his son Yao. since then i have begun to learn how to relax as only Africans can relax. Today i worked at the center cleaning rooms while calley shopped. but all the other things I've since learned and seen since being in Tamale will have to wait til later in that we need to go the market and get some fine ingredients for pizza tonight. Adios

As an 'airline official', I now pronounce you a veteran traveler! Awesome job.....

Still...I wonder...HOW DID YOUR MOTHER GET THE PHONE NUMBER TO THE ACCRA AIRPORT?
