That Guy

I have tried to defend myself to my friends many times as the proud owner of this blog..."I post, I promise!" But I don't...once a month at most...but still. It's my blog and I'll post when I want to. Currently I have an 8 a.m. New Testament class. This means I have a quiz at 8 a.m. every Monday morning. After 3 weeks I finally passed my first quiz today. C is for Calley...at least for today. I love the prof...he is witty and makes the material available for discussion...which leads me to my next Post Secret..."THAT GUY." Yes, he is in my class and growing grace in my heart every Monday at 8 a.m. His iPhone is all he needs for class, he doesn't want to join the discussion groups, and when the teacher poses a question he answers straight up, no regards for hand raising (87 people in this class). I have been contemplating the last three weeks why I want to throw a breakfast burrito at his head...until last week during my group supervision. For my practicum experience every Wednesday night at 8 p.m. (oh the contrast...) I meet with 4 other students and an LPC. We were all taking turns discussing our clients (this is allowed) and I found that I had a suggestion, story or helpful tidbit for EVERYONE. I left the hour and a half feeling so stoked for the semester and counseling in general. During my 20 minute drive home, music blaring, endorphins flowing, I realized I am "THAT GUY." Someone needs to throw a breakfast burrito at my head every once in awhile I guess. So in honor of my classmate and myself click here to find out if YOU too are "that guy."
