Paris to Jordania

Oh Paris...it really is all the stereotypes...
The whole city is one big expensive museum with stylish people everywhere and hordes of people sitting, smoking cigarettes, drinking coffee and watching tourists flock by.  The croissants and espresso really are that good.

Other things to note...
If a Parisian doesn't understand you or doesn't want to talk to you he or she will simply begin to ignore you.  This is opposed to Germany where this morning on the train a woman began asking me questions in Deutsch and I politely told her I did not spraken de Deutsch and she kept talking to me anyways with large hand gestures and lots of laughing.  Also, when traveling make sure to bring a large Pashmina shawl...it can stand in for many uses...blanket, hostel towel, skirt, scarf, etc. Because yes I did not have luggage...it magically appeared in Frankfurt when I caught my plane to Jordan today.

So I made it to Jordan, I've held Claire Bear in my arms, listened to Mary proficiently speak Arabic, and learned the word "dystopia"from Drew.  I'm ecstatic to be here...more soon.
