The Cleft

Tonight was the night we have been waiting for. We were finally able to get some face to face time with women who are seeking to move on from sex work. It was so fun to make pizza for them and write them each a note to make them feel special.
Mady, Kirby and Shelby stayed and ate and did Bible study with them while LT, Molly and I went upstairs and prayed. When the meeting was over we went downstairs to find them listening to music and dancing. Since the women are Latina they invited us to join in...how could we say no?
It was so encouraging to see women who were once depressed and hiding from God, now filled with joy and life. I am so thankful for Edna and Melissa and the way they have invited us into their ministry at The Cleft. Mady, Kirby, and Shelby will never forget their night with the ladies and the rest of us look forward to the upcoming weeks with them. Keep praying that their hearts would be open and the ladies who did not come tonight would come next week.
Tomorrow we are worshipping with everyone staying at the YWAM base in the morning and then going to Haarlem to visit Corrie Ten Boom's House. More later...
Thank you for praying with us.
Love,
Calley
P.S. I have my first meeting on Wednesday with a contact for my thesis!

Cal - I didn't know you were in Amsterdam! Those are old stomping grounds... that YWAM base is where we did our DTS. So cool that you are there. We know the Cleft and Haarlem, so fun that you are there!
Update more when you can.
Love ya, Annie

Cal and Team, I've soooo enjoyed reading your progress on the blog each day. You women are so blessed with the love and grace of Jesus Christ. You are all my heros for serving the Lord in this way. I pray daily for your safety and steadfastness in spreading God's word to these lost souls. I send my love to all of you even though we've never met, except for my precious niece, Miss Calley. Love, Aunt Connie
