Through Time and Space

Last night I was driving down Riverside listening to NPR (this has become a Tuesday night ritual after I leave Gary Wayne's house). A man was on BBC World talking about a new project done by the U.S. Holocaust Museum. Watch what you can of this video and you will see how incredible this project is. The part where they do the 3-D view of where the displaced people are is sobering. The guy being interviewed also said that he sees faith based organizations really making a difference in Darfur. In his opinion lives have been spared as a result of their efforts. Who knew liberal media would actually let people admit this...? I am encouraged not only by this project, but the possibilities for more...KT, I see you doing a Google earth project on the brothels all over the world that are going unnoticed. I am inspired.

U.S. Holocaust Memorial Museum & Google Darfur Mapping Project

United States Holocaust Memorial Museum and Google Join in Online Darfur Mapping Initiative To find Crisis in Darfur on Google Earth, users must download the Google Earth application at no cost from http://earth.google.com. Once downloaded, users will find Crisis in Darfur by flying over Africa. Information on the Museum’s Genocide Prevention Mapping Initiative and the Holocaust mapping layer can be accessed from the Museum's Web site at www.ushmm.org/googleearth.

I LOVE that idea! If I could figure out how to exactly do something that important, I would be off and running.
