Tonight I realized that I haven't posted in 20 days. So I started thinking about 20 days from now. In 20 days I will be in Georgia on the Appalachian Trail through the Chattahoochees with 11 high schoolers and my buddy Jay. One of the students came up to me tonight (a Jr. guy) and said, "Calley, isn't it awesome that the list says not to bring deoderant." Yes, awesome. Really, what's awesome is there are some hard core kids going on this trip. The kind you want by your side in the wilderness. The ones who will scour the forrest for fire wood and even build the fire. Ones who want to jump off the cliff into the lake you just discovered. We had our first training session and I realized how much I love leading this stuff.
