Restless, Nomadic Heart

Yesterday I was having a chat with my friend Grace Emma about life and "the bug" and how there is always that urge to go and do and the feeling of being a nomad, never quite fitting or settling down (in the traditional sense). This time in Tulsa has taught me and continues to teach me so much. SO much about the discipline and dailyness of life that can be so abundant in Christ. But God continues to put big dreams in my heart of places and people...China lately. And i am learning peace...to wait and rest and have complete joy...here, now. And GE gave me this great quote that i want to share with you:
"Oh restless heart, that beat against your prison bars of circumstances, yearning for a wider sphere of usefulness, leave God to order all your days. Patience and trust, in the dullness of the routine of life, will be the best preparation for a courageous bearing of the tug and strain of the larger opportunity which God may some time send you."
Mrs. Charles E. Cowman
"Streams in the Desert"
Be encouraged all you restless, nomadic hearts...
